Viveiro and the Wild Coast Route: what to see at San Román, Fouciño do Porco and Viveiro

The route starts at **San Román**, where the coast opens out widely and gives a first read of the landscape: beach, viewpoints and a clear sense of northern coast. From there, the route continues to **Fouciño do Porco**, one of the most spectacular trails in Galicia. Here the landscape becomes more intense: wooden boardwalks over the sea, cliffs and a journey that is best understood on foot. The last stop is **Viveiro**, where the pace changes completely. After the open coast, the town offers a more urban, relaxed setting — ideal for walking, eating and closing the day calmly. It's a very balanced route, with clear changes in landscape and a natural progression from open to enclosed.
