Route between the Ortegal Geopark and the Wild North
The route begins inland, along the Sor River, in a landscape of forest and water where the pace slows and everything invites you to stop. From there, the journey gradually opens up towards the sea until it reaches Estaca de Bares, the northernmost point of mainland Spain. From here on, the route becomes more intense: open coast, wind, cliffs and some of the most spectacular landscapes in Galicia. It continues along Porto de Bares and the Loiba Cliffs, where the sea returns as the main feature, this time from a closer, more walkable perspective. It's a very balanced route, with constant changes in landscape and well-distributed stops, ending in Ortigueira — perfect for closing the day calmly.

Granja Labrada Tips

Start by the Sor River and let the landscape change slowly as you go. If you do it in reverse, you'll see the same places… but you won't feel them the same way.
