Of all the rooms, As Patacas tells the most recent story — and maybe the loveliest. It was the potato store of the previous owners: the ones who, in the early 2000s, bought a house with trees growing inside it and set about bringing it back to life. They opened the chapter we're still writing. Today it's the family room. A custom folded-metal staircase climbs to the loft, where the beds are: a double and a trundle bed that sleeps one or two more — up to four. Downstairs, a small sitting area with a sofa, and a private bathroom in stone and timber. From the window you can see the shared garden and the cart house we've just restored — another corner of the house coming back to life.
